THE FOUNDATION’S WORK
Bronze by Benjamin Victor, 2010
Fifteen feet high and ten thousand pounds, its globe of figures modelled on ten students and faculty of Northern State University — each standing for a different part of the world. We commissioned it through an open call, Thai Ha funded it, and we donated it to the university.

Monument-size bronzes by Tuan Nguyen
We brought the university together with a collector of the artist’s monument-size bronzes, and the garden followed.

Two glass murals, each six by twelve feet, commissioned by us and on long-term loan to the art center. One is titled Further the Tradition, the other First Encounter.

Traditional lacquer painting is slow, temperamental, and disappearing. We filmed the entire process to preserve it.
